INDIVIDUAL CREATORS / FAQ
Before you begin.
Is Wrong Opera for individual creators?
Yes. Wrong Opera is designed for independent storytellers, filmmakers, animators and people developing their first show, as well as production teams. You can start your own project, make the creative decisions and work through development and production in one workspace.
Do I need animation or filmmaking experience?
You can start with a written idea. The studio helps you develop scripts, boards, character references and production material, so you do not need to draw every frame yourself. You still guide the story, choose what works and review the output. A short scene is a useful first project.
What can I make with Wrong Opera?
The five studios cover animation, film, TV, quiz and news. You might develop an animated character short, a film scene, a recurring show, an interactive quiz or a news explainer. Each format needs its own preparation: check quiz answers and verify news sources before producing or publishing.
What is included in the free trial?
The trial lasts 14 days and includes 800 credits, draft production and previews, simulated audience testing, and one trial-badged showcase page. No credit card is required. Downloads, YouTube publishing and storefront sales are restricted during the trial.
How far will 800 trial credits go?
Credit use depends on the models, duration and production choices you make. Start with a short scene or a small set of shots, use draft settings and check the production estimate before generating. Writing, images, voices and video can contribute to the total, so 800 credits do not guarantee a fixed finished runtime.
Can I bring my own characters and use them again?
Yes. The cast library supports uploaded character artwork as well as generated design sheets. Save appearance, personality and voice choices, then reuse those references across projects and episodes. Review new shots against your approved references to maintain continuity.
Is simulated audience testing feedback from real viewers?
No. Simulated audience testing uses AI audience personas to explore the hook, pacing and clarity of a story. Treat it as a development aid, not a prediction of success or a substitute for real viewer feedback. Review actual audience behaviour separately when your work is shared.
Can I publish my work or build a shop around my characters?
The Studio licence opens production and download workflows, YouTube publishing access, additional showcase pages, and merchandise and storefront paths. Wrong Opera also has tools for picture books and audiobooks. These features are outside the free trial; review the current plan, connection requirements and terms in the app before purchasing or publishing.
